Kanna Laddu Thinna Aasaiya is a 2013 Tamil comedy film directed by K.S.Manikandan. It stars Santhanam, Power Star Srinivasan, Sethu and Vishaka in the lead roles.The supporting cast includes VTV Ganesh, Kovai Sarala, K.Sivasankar, Pattimandram Raja, Vanitha Krishna Chandran, Devadarshini, Ganashkar, Lollu Sabha fame Swaminathan and Manohar meanwhile STR and Gautham Vasudev Menon does a cameo. The film is the maiden production of Santhanam, who makes the film along with Rama Narayanan while S. Thaman scores the film's music. Released by Red Giant Movies.

The plot revolves around the three friends who fall for the same girl, who has just moved into their locality and they are forced into a game of one-upmanship to win over the girl. The movie released on 13 January 2013 as a Pongal treat.

The film is about three friends who fall for the same girl. The three friends Kaliyaperumal (Santhanam), Power Kumar (Srinivasan) and Shiva (Sethu) have no job other than getting drunk and chasing girls. A pretty girl named Sowmiya (Vishaka) gets relocated with family to the opposite house of Shiva. They three fall for the girls beauty and makes a gentleman agreement leaving the decision of the girls choice to choose her lover. To impress her, the three attempts three different methods. Shiva helps Sowmiya's aunt (Kovai Sarala) in kitchen works; Kaliyaperumal joins Sowmiya's uncle (Ganesh) to learn singing; Power joins Sowmiya's father (Shivshankar) to learn Bharathanatiyam. One day, when none of Sowmiya's family is home, the three men eventually propose their love, leaving Sowmiya confused. Through the advice of her neighbour (Devadarshini), Sowmiya tells the three that she loves actor Simbu. The three then decide to bring Simbhu as a gift for Sowmiya's birthday, but Simbhu says he does not know anyone named Sowmiya. They then hire a thug named "Kolaveri" David to kidnap Simbhu, but he kidnaps Sowmiya instead. After Simbhu refuses to help, Shiva, KK and Power go and save Sowmiya from David, and she falls in love with shiva, because Power and KK had earlier beaten Sowmiya's uncle and father severely.

Neerparavai  is a 2012 Tamil film directed by National Award Winner Seenu Ramasamy and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin. It stars Vishnu and Sunaina in the lead roles along with Nandita Das, Saranya, Anupama Kumar, Samuthirakani and Thambi Ramaiah in supporting roles. Music by N.R.Rahananthan. The film dialouges are penned by Jeyamohan of Nan Kadavul and Angadi Theru fame. Cinematography by Balasubramaniem. Co-produced by R.Arjundurai and M.Senbagamoorthy. The major portion of the film will be shot around the regions of Kanyakumari. Lyrics are penned by Kaviperarasu Vairamuthu and editing by Kasi Viswanathan. Seenu Ramasamy’s earlier ventures are Koodal Nagar and Thenmerku Paruvakaatru which fetch the team multiple National Awards.

Arulappasamy (Vishnu) is a young man who is an alcoholic and wastrel who is a constant embarrassment for his hardworking parents. Esther (Sunaina) is an orphan girl who is adopted by a nun and she stays in the church. Arulappan slowly gets attracted to Esther and his love for her, changes him. He gives up drinking and wants to work so that he can marry Esther. But the local fishermen do not allow him to go into the sea. The young man due to his determination buys a boat , marries his love and life is all rosy, till fate intervenes.
