Neerparavai  is a 2012 Tamil film directed by National Award Winner Seenu Ramasamy and produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin. It stars Vishnu and Sunaina in the lead roles along with Nandita Das, Saranya, Anupama Kumar, Samuthirakani and Thambi Ramaiah in supporting roles. Music by N.R.Rahananthan. The film dialouges are penned by Jeyamohan of Nan Kadavul and Angadi Theru fame. Cinematography by Balasubramaniem. Co-produced by R.Arjundurai and M.Senbagamoorthy. The major portion of the film will be shot around the regions of Kanyakumari. Lyrics are penned by Kaviperarasu Vairamuthu and editing by Kasi Viswanathan. Seenu Ramasamy’s earlier ventures are Koodal Nagar and Thenmerku Paruvakaatru which fetch the team multiple National Awards.

Arulappasamy (Vishnu) is a young man who is an alcoholic and wastrel who is a constant embarrassment for his hardworking parents. Esther (Sunaina) is an orphan girl who is adopted by a nun and she stays in the church. Arulappan slowly gets attracted to Esther and his love for her, changes him. He gives up drinking and wants to work so that he can marry Esther. But the local fishermen do not allow him to go into the sea. The young man due to his determination buys a boat , marries his love and life is all rosy, till fate intervenes.

The Dark Knight Rises is a 2012 superhero film directed by Christopher Nolan, who co-wrote the screenplay with his brother Jonathan Nolan and the story with David S. Goyer. Featuring the DC Comics character Batman, the film is the third and final installment in Nolan's Batman film trilogy, and is a sequel to Batman Begins (2005) and The Dark Knight (2008). Christian Bale reprises the lead role of Bruce Wayne/Batman, with a returning cast of Michael Caine as Alfred Pennyworth, Gary Oldman as James Gordon, Morgan Freeman as Lucius Fox, and Cillian Murphy as Dr. Jonathan Crane. The film introduces the character of Selina Kyle, played by Anne Hathaway, a cat burglar whose appearance in Gotham City sets in motion a chain of events that will lead Batman to come out of retirement, and Bane, played by Tom Hardy, the story's antagonist. Oru Kal Oru Kannadi is an 2012 Indian Tamil romantic comedy film written and directed by M. Rajesh. It stars producer Udhayanidhi Stalin, in his acting debut, Hansika Motwani and Santhanam in the lead roles along with Saranya, Azhagam Perumal, Uma Padmanaban and Sayaji Shinde.  Whilst featuring Harris Jayaraj's music and Balasubramaniem's cinematography.The Movie also has Sneha, Andrea and Arya in the Cameo appearences. The film is named after a song from the film Siva Manasula Sakthi. Releasing on the 13th of April 2012,the film opened to positive reviews form critics and was declared a 'super hit', becoming a commercial success at the box office. Produced by Udhayanidhi Stalin and Co-produced by R.Arjundurai and M.Senbagamoorthy.

The story begins with Saravanan (Udhayanidhi Stalin) receiving his ex-girlfriend Meera’s (Hansika) wedding card. In order to stop the marriage,he sets out to Pondicherry along with his close buddy Parthasarathy aka Partha (Santhanam) in a janavasa car. As they embark on the journey, a flashback opens up. Saravanan, a happy-go-lucky youth, and Partha work for a multiplex in the city. Saravanan meets Meera at a traffic signal and falls for her charm instantly. He follows her and finds out that she is an aspiring airhostess and her father is a deputy commissioner of police (Sayaji Shinde). Despite spending time with him and showing interest in him, Meera rejects Saravanan due to certain circumstances. The flashback ends there and then the comical episodes of Saravanan and Partha begin. With Partha's help, Saravanan tries to impress Meera before the wedding. Whether Meera accepts Saravanan or not forms the rest of the story .
